What is LSD?
LSD is a hallucinogenic drug which means that a person who takes it is likely to feel sensations, sights and sounds that are distorted or not existent. LSD is commonly chosen 'acid'.  It comes in the form of a liquid (dropped on food or saccharide lumps) or small pieces of paper called 'tabs' that accept pictures on them ( which are swallowed). Forcefulness varies but a low dose (half a regular tab) will usually result in a mild LSD experience and full tab in a full blown trip.

What are the effects of LSD?
The effects of LSD vary greatly depending on dose level, how the user feels and the situation they are in when they have it. A user might run across things around them in a dissimilar way; things might await bigger or smaller or colours may look more intense. On LSD, a user might hear things that aren't actually in that location and lose their sense of fourth dimension and place.

And this is acid?

That was acid, yeah.  I took psychedelics the next weekend and the weekend after that, too – a month of psychedelic utilise!  This fourth dimension we took 2C-Eastward, which is a research chemic.  It'southward longer-acting than acrid and quite different in effect.  Acrid gave quite swirly, organic visuals but 2C-E was highly geometric.

The effect information technology had was quite different, besides.  Acrid made me feel a flake dislocated sometimes, and it could be difficult to become the right words out, just 2C-Eastward changed the mode I was thinking completely!  It felt like I was thinking in metaphors, and conversations had a very existent feeling of flow – a physical feeling, flowing similar water.

The showtime week we tried 2C-E it was actually, really, nice  The week after, it didn't work out quite so well and one of the people I took it with had a big freakout like with acid the commencement necktie.  And then we didn't employ annihilation for a while.

What are the negative effects of LSD?
If a trip turns bad, the user is stuck with the trip until the effects wear off. As mentioned, this tin have up to 12 hours. Both Sam and Charlie had experienced bad trips on LSD. Charlie did acid on the same twenty-four hour period she broke upward with her ex and was emotionally fragile. She ended upward having paranoid delusions and crying for several hours afterward.

Acids does a lot of that yeah. The thing is acid's emotional it doesn't just affect your, all your own visual senses. It affects your emotional senses y'all know. Skunk's hallucinogenic, THC is hallucinogenic so you become, you know that's why you encounter bright colours and music sounds brilliant because you're hallucinating. Acrid is something else. Information technology not only, it really plays with your emotions like you lot know and if y'all're having a good 1, you're having a good one. If y'all're having a bad one you have a actually bad one. I'll come onto that incident afterwards like it, if we've got and it scared the life out of me.

Which one was that?

I was at a political party, in fact I helped to organise a, quite a large free party and everything was cool, I was loving it. Taking loads of laughing gas, loads of information technology, I was selling loads of laughing gas. I was doing loads. I was but doing everything. And so I took some acid. I took too much acid. I asked this guy to stick drops of acrid in my heart because I thought it was funny. You lot know they were selling drops, just putting drops on people's hands and they were sucking them. I said, 'No, no, no I know if you can stick vodka in your middle and it gets you pissed, if you stick acid in your centre information technology's going to get pissed a lot quicker isn't it?' So he put drops in them. He really put almost four in them and that'southward a lot of acid. And I was alright for a while and then I started to think people were talking most me and that everyone hated me similar. I'd stole somebody's cider earlier on and it was really their like land we were using and then I was just like. 'They're going to get me now. They're really upset with me. They're going to go me. They're going to go me.' And then I decided to walk off. And the weird affair was I heard a story before I left that another guy had left and he was tripping and the police force had constitute him naked in a field. And he'd been arrested and gone to the police force station. And so that was in the back of my mind, the police force are going to go me. They're, whatever I practice don't go naked in the field otherwise I'm going to get arrested. So I'm trying to notice, and these are along long lanes in the middle of like countryside. I'yard trying to go back and I'one thousand going the incorrect way and I'm going the long way and I don't know where I'm going. I've got to become back and this car is behind me. And I'm upwardly against the hedge as far equally I can, like proper as far as I can and so the car can become past in that location's no problem. This car is backside me and it slowly following me. I didn't know if the motorcar was there simply I, it felt like it. And then drove off and and then the automobile was behind me again. And I've got no idea how long it took me to walk the four miles to get home only every footstep of that way in that location was somebody there trying to get me or be behind me. I simply couldn't accept it and I couldn't become home because everybody at home was going to know at that place is something wrong with me and I don't, I want to become asleep. I don't experience like I tin can slumber. I just, [sigh] I've got. I only demand aid.

And then I went to the place that gives me help. I went to the pub. I went to the pub and I'm in the pub crying at the landlady telling her that I need help. And she's screaming at me telling me I'm a fucking idiot and I need to get abode and become to sleep. And I'm saying, 'No yous have to give me beer because beer will help'. She goes, 'No you tin't accept any fucking beer'. And like she was basically screaming at me and trying to get to get me out of her pub, not in a horrible way just she, she knows that I weren't correct. She didn't know what I was doing. She knows I weren't right. She knew I needed help. And I call back earlier that I'd probably been there a couple of times and she'd seen me in particular ways and it was so scary. I said, 'I'm never going to do acid again.

And the week after I dropped acid for the starting time fourth dimension which was a very unwise thing to take done. Information technology was going very well. Nosotros went for a walk in a park this was in the evening.
We were very euphoric and happy and chatting. We went on a walk through the park and one of the friends that I was with got paranoid because she saw a car in the car park and she was sort of getting scared that the police were going to come and go her which is fairly common kind of delusion, I estimate.  And that paranoia sort of built upwardly between the 3 of u.s. and we all headed back to my house. Simply she carried on being anxious and I picked up on that really strongly and started having a bad trip too.

At one point I was in my room looking for something and the others were in the living room.  I heard them talking really loudly about me, in really negative ways, and that didn't seem right, it seemed unlikely – but it made me feel terrible.  So I went to the living room and hovered outside the door to hear what they were saying and they stopped.  So I went dorsum to my room and they started again, but very loud.  And I realised that to hear them that loudly in my room they would take to be shouting.  That was horrific.  I went to speak to them and they told me that they hadn't been talking virtually me.  And so I realised I was just hearing voices, having paranoid delusions.

How did you feel afterwards?

Well, I cried for a few hours after that trip.  It was so scary, I was terrified.  Merely I recollect those tears, well, I'd just cleaved upward with my ex that day and so I recollect that was coming out too.  It was a stupid thought to take acrid correct afterward a breakup!

The side by side week I was in a much better place, then we did information technology again. And it was an absolutely wonderful experience this time. Nosotros did information technology during the day. We went to a park, and nosotros spent the entire day in the park sitting looking at nature and we just had a wonderful, wonderful time. We felt happy and euphoric and it was amazing to just sit down and look at the grass and ponder the world.  Then information technology was a very unlike experience and a much, much better i.

What are magic mushrooms?

Magic mushrooms (aka 'Shrooms) are mushrooms that grow in the wild. At that place are 2 principal types and they're quite dissimilar. Yes I mean, yep I don't really know where that came from just... I mean it was quite fun that twenty-four hours but I don't really have whatsoever desire to exercise them over again really.

Just kind of like yeah I just worry, like suddenly kind of not aware of where I am maybe and yes just kind of. I've e'er been worried virtually kind of losing stuff like losing my wallet or whatever, phone or whatever.

Will this be something you will do once more? I mean sort of...

I mean...

I can't say I'll never do it again but I have certainly no similar desire I mean maybe aye if I was similar, been drinking quite a lot and maybe like if merely I hateful I have like, I have similar no desire really. I mean I tin can't say I'll never do it again but I, yeah I hateful if I, probably but be similar very, like occasionally but I hateful I could easily like never do it again because I didn't actually. I mean I didn't really get annihilation out of it and yeah.

What are the negative furnishings of Magic mushrooms?

Taking the incorrect type of mushroom is a existent risk; some types of mushroom expect similar magic mushrooms but are poisonous and can crusade serious health issues or death. Magic mushrooms can themselves crusade stomach problems such as nausea, sickness and diarrhoea.  Similar with LSD, trips can be bad. Craig described taking a cocktail of drugs, including magic mushrooms, as the scariest combination he has ever taken. Under its effects he thought that everyone looked similar characters from 'The Simpsons'.
